I know that every time I tell my girlfriend how beautiful she is she always gets mad at me for making our conversation all about "my sexual desires" with my compliment.

And then she complains that instead of complementing her and sharing my heartfelt appreciation for her as a partner in my life and a partner in my bed I should just buy her things.

Yeah, the person I am asking for is aware that they may have to do a Catholic school, but we were looking for one that is relatively inexpensive and does not emphasize its religious nature (if that is at all possible).

My life isn't overly-tedious and I tend to vote with my money in as many situations as I can.

I like the downvote system. It makes it less of a super-happy, contrived-bullshit arena where we are only ever nice to each other.
