  Where do you sit on the bus and why?

  0 0 If it's the accordion bus and they have that sideways facing three seat option right in front of the second set of doors that open, I sit in the farthest back seat of the three (there's a bar that runs between seat 2 & 3). It gives me easy off access, the ability to keep a bar between me and someone else, and people don't like to sit in the middle between two people, so I'm more likely to not have a nearby seat mate for a while. Otherwise, any side facing seat on the front half of a bus is choice since I don't get blocked in and have to hustle out around another person to get off or vice versa.   I'm craving a sci-fi book with an apocalyptic/dystopic edge.

  0 0 Have you read A Canticle for Leibowitz? It's older, but pretty standard dystopian recommended reading. There's also The Handmaid's Tale which I totally need to reread as it's been 12 or so years and the details are hazy. I accidentally acquired a book called "Seeker" by Jack McDevitt and decided to read it anyway. If you're looking for a pulpy, breezy, sci-fi book this is something far less weighty.   Does anyone have any recommendations for a tailor?

  1 0 http://www.yelp.com/biz/adam-tailoring-and-alterations-seattle I've witnessed this guy's work in person and he was quick and good at his job.   Epistolary novels?

  1 0 I liked The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky Technically Microserfs is epistolary and I really liked that, but I read jPod first (which is actually its successor) and actually preferred reading them in backwards order. Whenever I manage to find a copy I'm going to read The Prestige by Christopher Priest (upon which the movie of the same name was based).
