  Do you have any advice for easing severe PMS symptoms?

  2 0 have you tried raspberry leaf? I used to get really intense PMS symptoms, as well. I've started making a tea for myself of dried raspberry leaves, chamomile, oatstraw, nettle, oregon grape, and ginger. I was really surprised to find that this helps--A LOT. Seriously. The last doc I went to told me to take a bunch of supplements and tried to put me on hormonal BC (despite my protestations!), which was AWFUL, and made me even more nauseous. But this tea blend has worked. It's not 100%, but sometimes I don't even realize I'm pmsing for sure until I start bleeding, whereas I used to pms for a week to two weeks.   Can you recommend any locally made tofu?

  0 0 Rising Produce on King Street stocks tofu that's made just up the hill on 12th Avenue near Alder. I can't remember the name of the place, but it usually comes wrapped in plastic wrap. I've heard you can walk into the factory on 12th and buy it there, too. The tofu is good, and I think they also sell it cut and fried.   Best Method for Stove Top Grilled Cheese Sandwiches?

  0 0 in my experience, blindfolds (unless carefully tied) are rarely effective. but you just forget that, blindfold him, and let him peek around it. maybe in the heat of the moment, after you've gotten more comfortable, let him take it off. or use a semi-sheer fabric to give yourself the illusion of not being seen, for the time being! novabird commented over 2 years ago

  0 0 used bike from Craigslist, the Bikery, Bikeworks, or the Bikeshack: $50-200 (used) rack: $10 lights: $30-50 helmet: $10-40 lock: $20-50 fenders: $0 (used) to $50 spare parts to adjust bike fit (from Bikery/Bikeshack/etc): $0-20 there are so many resources in our city to get a person started, and it doesn't have to cost a lot! novabird commented over 2 years ago

Feel free to introduce your self as "Hello, I couldn't help but noticing how hot/beautiful/lovely you look! I'm _____, I go by ___ (your preferred gender pronoun group: he/she/ze)." This gives them an easy opening to introduce themselves to you using the pronoun of their preference, and it indicates that you're a supportive ally to gender-variant folks.   What is a good gift for a homeless person?

  2 0 The 'Dwelling Portably' series by Burt & Holly Davis, off of Microcosm Press. It has stuff like improvisational showers, etc. Stuff that matters when you're living transiently.
