Yes, RS tends to sell overpriced items with questionable quality, but this little set isn't too costly and gets decent reviews (you'll find it mentioned on some apple-related forums).

I recently got one and used the 00 to open up a macbook pro. I was just upgrading ram, so I didn't need HD access, but the set comes with a T8 (full list on their site).

They congregate around Monorail Espresso because that place 1) is somewhat centrally located, 2) is indecently owned, 3) offers a discount for those on a bike (I think), and 4) probably other super secret reasons I don't know about since I'm not a bike messenger. But that location has been a messenger hangout for years and years.

Lots of fun had been had via streaming, but don't forget all the channels you can get via an antenna. (In Seattle it's over 20 channels.) It will allow you to do that surfing and zoning that was mentioned in another answer:

Why does it have to be wifi? DSL upload speeds generally tend to be slow-ish and public wifi places might throttle those speeds to make it even slower.

Can't you go to a place with a wired connection (i.e. the Fremont branch of the SPL) and upload the file from there? I believe their OS/GUI now lets users access files from thumbdrives. One problem with this though is that you'll only get 90 minutes (per day). I don't know what their upload speeds are; your file might not be uploaded by then. Is there a local copy/print shop that has pc access?

Otherwise, stand on a Fremont corner with a sign asking for file uploading assistance and I'm certain someone will help out.

What exactly are you trying to achieve? i.e. send out an Express Mail package? Get an item postmarked that day? Just mail a package via "regular" mail but get counter help? etc.

Even though a certain PO may be open later in the evening, they often have earlier cut-off times for Express Mail (to meet their service guarantees).

Can you prove negligence? Was the pothole reported to the city and instead of fixing it they just spent time contemplating Mudede slog posts?

You can submit a claim with the city and wait and see what happens.
