  looking for a non wedding wedding dress-- nothing white, sexy and elegant, something i'll want to wear again. suggestions?

  0 0 I had my wedding dress made: http://itsmarkmitchell.com/ He did a great job for me, and I would recommend him to anyone. Every person asked where I got my dress (1920s inspired, black and champagne colored) and I got to tell them I had it made and designed for me! I would totally wear it again, and it was stunning. He may not be in your style (best to talk with him) or he may be busy, but figured I'd link him cause he is amazing. O.   How much $$$ should we plan for an open bar?

  0 0 Just be sure to have a lot of vodka. Seems everyone wants to drink it. At our wedding, we had gin, vodka, and Captin Morgans. The vodka ran out after like, 1 hour.   0 0 Our bridesmaids/groomsmen walked down the aisle to The Mountain Goats “Sorry mario, your princess is in another castle” Flower girls: Franz Ferdinand “Do You Want To” I walked down the aisle to: Maps “To The Sky” Our first dance: Band of Horses “I go to the barn because I like the….” A close second (and almost was the song) is “Today” by Jefferson Airplane My dance with my dad: Paul Simon “Father and Daughter” My dance with my father-in-law: Jimi Hendrix “Little Wing” (a live version) My husband danced with his mother: Iron and Wine “Upward Over the Mountain” My husband danceed with my mom to: Seu Jorge “Life on Mars” (not lyrically meaningful, but we wanted Bowie) another good Bowie cover is M.   What's the best non-bar dancing type bachelorette party idea?

  0 0 Maybe rent (or if you already have them, cool) bikes and take ferries around the islands. Bike around a bit at each island, then go on to the next one. Picnic somewhere near the water or maybe splurge for a nice brunch? I'd also recommend hiking off I-90, twin falls is a great hike (with some places for swimming), and easy enough that out of shape girls won't be dying. O.   Apartment help!

  0 0 You can easily find a studio for that price on Capitol Hill. A lot of places don't advertise, especially the cheap places. Just walk around Bellevue Ave E between Denny and Roy and then go up to Summit, or Harvard, making a loop around that area. Also, places past 15th ave are pretty cheap. The Stranger classifieds also have places for rent listed as well... Georgetown may be *ok*, but you can only walk around that area, you can't walk to the downtown area, bus service is pretty bad, and you'd have to taxi anywhere else. Sorry, but that is lame. Also, it is already getting trendy (no need to wait 10 years, try 2 years). All in all, I'd suggest another trip out here (if you can afford it) and write down numbers for apartments that have signs up. It'll be worth it.
