  2 0 With meat and dairy products, spoilage organisms aren't your only concern. Salmonella is not uncommonly found on chicken meat. E. coli on beef. That said, both of these organisms aren't much of an issue if you cook the meat well and fully (no pink). Arsenic7 commented 3 months ago

  Can anybody suggest a restaurant in which it isn't depressing to eat alone?

  2 0 Cafe's are good for this. You can bring a book, relax, maybe make conversation with others now and then, and some of them have good food, too. I'd suggest looking in that direction. Enlighten, in Ballard, for example. It offers some of the food of Root Table (the attached restaurant) and the atmosphere of a cafe.   1 0 People wear whatever they like. No need to get fancy unless you want to set a certain mood for yourself.
