Have you considered mason bees? They pollinate very well, but basically don't sting.

You are totally justified in that fear.

Is he meeting your needs the way he behaves now? If so - then don't worry about it. If not, dump him. He has made it very clear that he isn't going to change for you, and you shouldn't wait around hoping he will. That would make you the crazy one.

  • What happened to all the fitness trails in Seattle City parks?
    Sthowtoff_small

How would you get the ball rolling?

Contact Seattle Parks Foundation - tell them you would like to organize a campaign to raise funds to install the type of equipment you're describing. They will be able to give you a little bit of administrative support, and help you identify the proper city officials to get this going. (And possibly tell you if there is already another similar project underway.)

Fundraising shouldn't be too hard - I would happily shell out 25 bucks towards a fitness trail reasonably close to my house - I am sure there are many others who would do the same.

Based on the current budget situation, though, I think it is going to take someone (who could be YOU!) putting in a lot of hours with no compensation to drive the project forward.

I purchased and used "Better Keyboard" for a while - and it is better. Better yet, though, is "SlideIt." It is basically a ripoff of Samsung's "Swype." I was dubious, but it really is a much, much better way to type if you don't have a physical keyboard. Even if you were to not like the sliding-typing action, it implements most of the features Better Keyboard does, but better. Google "dasur slideit"

If she really is still in the "learning" phase, I wouldn't try to hard to expand her interests. Even within subject areas that you might not be fond of, there are good selections. For instance, if she loves Disney princesses, you could find other tellings of the same stories - some of which are very nice.
