  Is flushing your gum down the toilet bad for your plumbing?

  0 0 It really does hurt your plumbing if you have a septic tank. Septic tanks let the sewage break down and seep into the ground. Gum, however, cannot break down (not very quickly anyway)and will build up. If you don't have a septic tank, it is okay. The waste treatment plant employees won't be happy though.
