Forged document accepted by the LDS elders which tended to show the satanic underpinnings of Joseph Smith's "discovery". Perpetrated by Mark Hoffman - read about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Hofmann. It's generally seen as indicative of the LDS church's need and desire to keep a lid on any historical documents that tend to show Smith as a con man - this means a lot of documents, since he was actually a con man.

The Locks is a great idea, and very popular with men of a certain age, I find.

I watched on Netflix's instant queue a few months ago, with subtitles, but the film had this weird silence thing going on. Sometimes a scene would show two people talking, but I would only hear the background noise of their shoes in the snow, and the subtitles would show a few lines of dialogue. I still don't know if that is how it was supposed to be, or if we just got a bad copy.

They would have to get a judgment against you first, so you would know this was happening. Rickler, I would recommend you pull your credit report, and see if this company is listed as one of your creditors, and try to contact it again. When you get in touch with them, ask for an accounting of the original overpayment to you, and each of your payments. If they are charging any interest or penalties, ask for a copy of any contract that you agreed to allowing them to do so. You will likely have to pay the debt, but perhaps you can get out of paying any interest or penalties, and you can at least know what & why you are paying.

I was just going to suggest Twirlygirl. They're local!

Thanks Mike G. I actually got my tomato starts about six weeks ago, and planted them in my two Topsy-Turvy as-seen-on-TV contraptions four weeks ago, and I have tiny green tomatoes growing right now. It's going to be a bumper crop if this sun holds out.

I love this place. It's great for getting quick, but delicious, grab-and-go lunch, dinner or dessert. Not many other choices for such food downtown, unless you want a sandwich.

Oh, I think this Sunday. If you're too early, the system just won't let you file.

There is a ReStore in Seattle - it's in Ballard on 15th, just after the Ballard Bridge. Not sure that this will help Explorer, since it doesn't sound like he's much into DIY. But the ReStore is an awesome option.

I think also that some of the middle-aged, married men are also forced out, likely for political reasons, and their wives/children are taken on by another man with more power in the community. Imagine in the small world of the male leadership in these communities - the best way to shut up a squeaky wheel/fellow leader is to shun him and remove his wives and children.

Whatever the answer is, it's a sad, sad story.
