    Meditation could be extremely helpful if you're willing to commit time each day - 20 to 30 minutes. It will teach you to calm your mind and body and help you take charge of your thoughts. It's not a quick fix, but you'll notice benefits after a few weeks.

    Find a meditation teacher. It's very difficult to learn and develop the discipline just through reading.

    Also, find a therapist who's aware of mind/body connection and can support you in this,as well as working on other issues. Reach out for support - you don't have to go it alone.

    Buy him a MagicJack phone. It'll have your area code...he links it to his computer, when you call his MagicJack phone you'll be calling a local number. This worked for phone calls to a friend in Japan.

    The answers seem to be from people who don't use their phones all that much, and therefore aren't worried. Not a good sampling of whether or not people SHOULD be worried. And that would be a better question, because really, what do any of us know if there's truth in your mom's statement.

    I just heard of a web site - www.ToolsForWellness.com - that sells a product (looks like a 1/2" circle) to stick on your phone to block EMF's and protect your brain. In case anyone is worried.
