Well, I'll be damned. Thanks for the field work, I'm putting Broadway Grill on my list for the next warm, sunny day.

Really? Or are you thinking of mimosas?

Hi Allie, thanks, I think I'll look into this. I like the idea of my belongings being tightly wound in plastic wrap for the trip, those pallets seem to be pretty stable. :)

Hiya NTOP - I'm moving from Seattle to Louisville, KY. It's for school, though, so it' won't be until August.

I have heard some good stories of strangers collaborating to move - like the one from Jennifer Jane on this string - and I like the idea. I was thinking maybe the "Rideshare" section of craigslist could be used to find someone:

    Thanks for your answer!

The tip to load at the depot is awesome, thanks. I'll probably end up getting rid of as much stuff as possible before moving with a combination of these options like you did. Thanks!

Interesting, I'd not heard of this! Time to start looking into alternative shipping options, thanks.

Yeah, I'm all about purging and renewal and all that, but I have a couple of heirloom pieces of furniture and a bed that I loooooove. I've done the sell-everything-get-new-stuff-from-craigslist thing too many times. :)

Never mind, I was being lazy. There are a few bars in town that serve Q tonic:

It looks like Whole Foods is the only place in Seattle to purchase Fever Tree. Totally trying these out, thank you!
