    Thanks for the local suggestions (all 3)! I will definitely check them out.

    Thanks also for the vintage idea and the ebay links. I think shopping vintage and/or via ebay is probably a great idea for somebody . . . just probably somebody else. While I could have mentioned this before, for me that's gonna be dodgy just because I have a pretty severe correction. Annoyingly, not only does this mean my lenses are thicker and more expensive than lighter prescriptions, but they won't fit into all frames. Some frames just aren't frame-y enough to hold 'em, others are too curved. And I'm probably not going to be able to predict which won't work with great accuracy all by myself.

    (Basically, I just need someplace to take responsibility for the frames and the lenses, "Yes, we can make/get your prescription and fit it into these frames here without anything breaking, or you don't pay.")

    But for someone with a light correction? Vintage probably = awesome.

    Thanks! I will call them. Though, from what I'm assuming is their website (http://www.anglelakecycle.com), no wonder I didn't find 'em before, there ain't much there that could be Googled on the recumbent front. Guess they get their customers the old-fashioned way. But thanks again! :)
