Where can I find egg nog in Seattle now?

  • ED after cancer surgery
    N1742797601_5631_small

Poor dears! I've been through a similar situation in the past. Here's what I learned from Dan Savage and from experience: Have lots of sex anyways. Toys, hands, mouths, whatever. Make sure you guys keep on enjoying yourselves no matter what you actually do. There could easily be a psychological component to the ED as well as the physical. If he's feeling like "a failure" because he can't have an erection the problem could compound itself. Is there any time scale for after prostate surgery that things could function better in? Maybe a little more time could help.

I hope the doc can help you guys find a physical solution, but in the meantime I'll be wishing you much erotic fun and happiness.

I've done cards several times, it was very cheap and very easy. I buy some nice looking card stock from Kinkos, and a set of cheap watercolors, and a glitter glue pen or two. Then, I go to the bar and drink a hot toddy or egg nog while putting a few swishes of a couple different colors on the card, line a couple of those with glitter glue, and voila!

The biggest expense was the drinks, but I've met lots of nice people while doing these, and the people sometimes help. :)

Seriously Rev, you gotta chill out a little bit. Evrything in the world is a toxin, it just depends on the dose.

While one should be skeptical about the safety of food additives and pesticides, you can't assume that just because something is bad in larges doses that it's bad in small doses.

    Educate, don't scare.

Whoops, didn't see Megan's answer there. My bad.

  • Does anyone know what was going on on Aurora northbound last night?
    N1742797601_5631_small

I think that was probably a threatened suicide. It happens occasionally that they close all the lanes while negotiating with/rescuing a jumper. If it was police vehicles blocking, and not any of the yellow-light-topped construction trucks.

It's also possible that it was construction, though they generally don't schedule work like that in the early evening because it fucks up traffic. They did daytime lane closures last weekend because the work they were doing was too loud to do in the nighttime hours, so it could maybe have been something like that.

I've been pretty happy with the Skullcandy brand, especially when i buy them at Radioshack. You get them for 20 bucks, pay 2 dollars for the warranty, then when the little plug starts going bad, or you accidentally drag them out of your car door on the freeway and grind them down into misshapen plastic good balls they replace them for you free.

Decent sound for the money, and they block out a fair bit of noise so you can actually hear what you're listening to.

Our manager has been completely ineffective, and even in denial, about a couple of important issues, and is starting to accuse us (without saying it) of being oversensitive or just bitchy.

If there is an actual problem with the electricity, THEN I will bring it to their attention, of course, but I don't want to have any more "issues" than have already been brought up. We had similar issues in another apartment in the same building, so don't know if it's the whole building that screwed up or what.

  • How to handle canine arthritis?
    N1742797601_5631_small

I don't know how to actually treat it, but I can tell you that glucosamine (and chondroitin) have both been found to be ineffective for treatment of joint issues. You can save yourself the 30 bucks on that bottle of pills or treats.
