Ahah! Right on all accounts. I did eat a bunch and it was on a relatively empty stomach. The nausea I experienced was exactly like the kind I get if I drink green tea on an empty stomach, which makes sense now because of the high tannin level! Thanks so much. Sounds like I better have a big meal first and go easy on them. It's cool to have berries available this time of year.

What the heck is that weird colorful fruit on the Burke-Gilman Trail?

Well said Mr. Fusspot. These are the kinds or real decisions that make a difference. More so than marching around with a sign. And it's not very hard to do. I started using credit unions by accident, but I've come to appreciate the convenience and economic advantages of this "decision". I have no fees, online banking and I can make most transactions at 7-11. Plus I believe I've contributed a little less to the richest bankers out there.

Somewhere along the way in the "Don Juan" series by Carlos Castaneda, Carlos attempts to fly. I think it's in "Tales of Power".

If you don't want to break your wrists, learn to fall properly because you'll be falling at every level of skateboarding. A judo class could help, but basically *do not lock your elbows*. When in doubt, bend your knees and crouch low. And roll or slide instead of trying to stop yourself using just your hands. I was in your same boat at one point. I started learning around 24 or 25. I never had much luck in Cap Hill. When you get good enough to roll down a bit of a hill, the brick section in front of SCCC is really fun. If you go later at night, there are less obstacles. For now, there is that little area at the top where the trees are that is fairly flat and not usually crowded. Parking lots at night can work, but none really stick out to me.

Checked in with them. No luck. They did have used discs for disc golf though. I had to go new :-/

There is a very specific feeling involved that is hard to describe. If you haven't felt it, you might not be able to relate. Maybe the thing with your wrist is similar though, Basil? It's hard to say. Particular fabrics don't throw me off, unless they're itchy, like some types of wool. Stuff around my waist can sometimes feel weird, too. I don't know if it's quite the same, I don't experience it as often. I experience the neck thing at least a couple of times a week, especially while trying to sleep.
