  0 0 If you don't trust medically trained doctors this may not help, but the "Find a Therapist" area on psychologytoday.com has always been helpful for me with finding someone to talk to. You can see people's pictures, read about their specialties and what their approach is and how many years they've been practicing. That might give you a feel for whether or not you could trust any of them. That still won't help you if you can't afford it but perhaps some of them have a sliding pay scale?
